Ugh! Another early day. We had to meet with the group early today so we could all get off of the ship together.
So...Brandi and I got up at 6am and went to our last breakfast at the Windjammer. We talked about the cruise and how much fun we had, yada yada yada...
As we always feel after a cruise...WE DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE!
At 7:30, we met up with our group, left the ship, grabbed our luggage, went through customs and then got on th bus to the airport.
So...our flight was at 1:30 and we were at the ticket counter at about 9:45. There was no Frontier Rep there and we found out from the people in front of us that don’t open the ticket counter until 3 hours before the first flight...ours.
We talked with the people in front of us. They just got back from a Carnival cruise to the Caribbean as well. They were very nice people that were going to fly through Denver on their way back to their hometown, Seattle.
We got to talking about our ships and I had the laptop handy. I showed them pictures of the Independence of the Seas. Needless to say, I think that their next cruise vacation may be a Royal Caribbean vacation! HAHAHA!
The people behind us in line were on a cruise as well and they broke out THEIR laptop and showed all of us some of their pictures as well. They went to totally different ports as us too! It was fun! We had a good time waiting for the Frontier guy to finally show up.
We got our tickets, went through secruity and grabbed some lunch at a little restaurant in the concourse. I had a burger and Brandi and chicken fingers. We shared a basket of onion rings/fries.
We still had 1 hour to kill before the flight took off. Brandi and I went to the book store and Brandi got a Sodoku book and I got some Skittles.
We went to the gate and Brandi started right in on puzzle #1 while I started to catch up on the blog.
We boarded, took off, I continued to write the blog. I almost fell asleep. I listened to Muse on my iPod. Then we were home!
My mom picked us up at the airport and took us home. We all had the Tuscani Lasagna from Pizza Hut. Brandi and mom thought it was just “ok.” I liked it.
We watched the Cruise in Review DVD and Graham Seymour’s comedy DVD and then mom went home.
We unpacked...and SLEPT.
It was a fantastic trip!
